Terence Smith graduated from UCLA and, after a few years working in accounting jobs in the Southern California area, joined the U.S. Navy as a Supply Corps Officer. After retiring from the Navy, he held a number of jobs working as a contractor for various agencies in the Department of Defense, to include not only the Department of the Navy but also the Secretary of Defense, the Defense Logistics Agency, and the U.S. Army. While still working for the DoD as a contractor, Terry purchased his winter home in the Naples, Florida area, splitting time between Naples and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for the next few years. Eventually, Terry wound up living most of the year in the Naples area due to the area's year-round mild climate and numerous recreational opportunities. Having moved frequently while on active duty in the Navy, Terry needed to find a new home fairly often and found that he had a real passion for real estate. That passion plus his extensive background in logistics planning and Information Technology management led him to pick real estate as his third career – to use his experience to help customers thoroughly survey the market and find their dream home here in the paradise that is Southwest Florida. Terry has been married to Patricia for 40 years and they and their 4 children navigated the life of a military professional's family together. Tricia is not only Terry's life partner but, sharing his passion for real estate due to sharing the same experiences, she's also his real estate partner.
